Yasu listens carefully to changes in culture and sei-katsu-sha values, and considers and communicates the approaches that companies and brands should take in the future. His books based on this approach include Purpose: Signifying the Economy and Beyond, D2C: Winning Brand Strategies with Worldviews and Technology (both published by NewsPicks Publishing) and Many Mondays (Lobsterr Publishing). Since March 2019, he has been running Lobsterr, a slow media company that gathers and disseminates signs of change in culture and business from around the world. Graduated from Waseda University, School of Political Science and Economics. Completed Master of Design Methods at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
